  • Phase 1: Discovery Call & Onboarding

    Beginning with a virtual discovery call, we learn about your needs, style, and desired scope, whether your project is new construction, a renovation, or solely custom furnishings. Once we move forward together, our team will finalize the contract and gather additional details through our client preferences form, giving us a strong foundation to start from.

  • Phase 2: Vision & Planning

    Great design begins with understanding your home as a whole. For clients building or renovating, this includes collaborating with architects to refine layouts, evaluate flow, establish lighting plans, and identify opportunities for unique architectural features. For furnishings-only projects, this stage focuses on learning how you live in your current spaces. We create a thoughtful furniture floor plan that reflects your style, needs and goals that feels cohesive and intentional. Whether we are shaping the design from the blueprint stage or reimagining existing rooms, our priority is to create a strong vision that balances beauty, proportion, and functionality.

  • Phase 3: Budget Alignment

    A thoughtful budget is the cornerstone of a successful design. We craft a tailored financial framework that reflects the scale and nature of your project, whether it involves full-scale construction or solely furnishings. For new builds and renovations, we define and review allowances for finishes, fixtures, and materials, ensuring design choices remain aligned with both your aesthetic vision and investment goals. We also provide a clear, anticipated range for furniture, rugs, window treatments, lighting, and accessories - offering clarity and confidence from the start. By setting realistic parameters, we minimize surprises, foster transparent communication with vendors and trades, and safeguard your investment. 

  • Phase 4: Construction Oversight

    For projects involving construction, we serve as dedicated design project managers, collaborating closely with your general contractor and trades to ensure the design is executed with precision. We coordinate selections, manage schedules, and confirm details are delivered within the established timeframe. This level of oversight helps decisions run smoothly, minimizes delays, and keeps the build aligned with the intended vision. 

  • Phase 5: Furnishings & Styling

    Building from what we learned about your lifestyle, personal style(s), and inspirations, we then weave those elements into a cohesive and customized design plan. We carefully develop furnishing schemes for each room and the home as a whole. Through art, lighting, textiles, and curated accessories, we layer in texture, pattern, and nuance, bringing depth and individuality to the final design. 

  • Phase 6: The Reveal & Handover

    This is the moment your home truly comes to life. Whether following construction or concluding a furnishings-only project, we manage every aspect of the final installation - placing furniture, rugs, artwork, window treatments, and accessories efficiently and with intention. To support the longevity of your investment, our team provides a detailed handover packet, including care guidelines, warranty details, and maintenance tips, ensuring your home remains as beautiful as the day it was completed. This is the culmination of our collaboration and your vision, fully realized. Your home is ready to be lived in and loved.

  • This depends! Because we want to provide you with the best design possible, we can’t accommodate “fast” turnarounds. Our team works efficiently, but we have an incredibly thoughtful and meticulous process that we’ve created over the years and are constantly improving. A good range to expect is 6-9 months for full-service design, but construction of course adds to that timeline and that range is dependent on the custom scope. We’ll keep you posted on our progress and answer any and all questions as we go along!
